FSSAI Central licence renewal
All food business operators who meet the requirements for a central licence, such as having a turnover of Rs 20 Crore or operating in numerous locations, must renew their licences using Form C, which is available online. An FSSAI Central License renewal costs 7,500 per year from the government.

The licence will expire if the renewal application is not submitted within the validity period. The food business operator must halt all operations at the food unit in such a case. If the food business operator wants to revive it, they must submit an application for a new food licence or registration. If necessary for reasons that must be stated in writing, designated officers may order an inspection before renewal. Inspection is not necessary if the food business operator possesses a current certificate from a body recognized by the Food Authority, a certified auditor of food safety, or any other institution informed by the FSSAI.
The FSSAI licence comes with a one-year expiration date, but there is an opportunity to renew it for up to five years. It is essential to renew the FSSAI licence after its term has expired. Before the validity of the FSSAI License expires, it must be renewed in order to continue the business.
To file a renewal application, an express renewal facility is available. You need a user id and password to respond to questions posted on the application.
According to the Food Safety Officer's instructions, any importer or operator of a food business who disobeys the act's provisions without a legitimate excuse faces a fine of up to two lakh rupees.
