The Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Indian Government established the Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) to act as the principal body in charge of policing and regulating food safety.
For all organisations engaged in the manufacture, processing, packaging, or distribution of food, central FSSAI Registration has been necessary. The central licence is required for owners of food businesses who operate in various states and are subject to Schedule 1 of the FSSAI regulations from 2011. If a food business's annual sales reaches 20 crores, the proprietor must submit Central License Form B.
All food industry business owners must register with the FSSAI in order to comply with the requirements of the central licence, which include having a revenue of more than 20 crore, being an importer or exporter, or having operations in several locations.

Basic FSSAI Registration
For all food industry operators who meet the basic registration criteria of having a turnover of less than Rs. 12 lakhs, the FSSAI License Renewal Form A is applicable. Depending on how many years you choose, the cost of renewing your food registration might be anything from Rs 100 and Rs 500.
FSSAI State licence renewal
"FSSAI License Renewal Form B" is applicable to all food industry operators who meet the requirements for a state licence, which are a turnover of between 12 lakh and 20 crore. Depending on the sort of food business, government licence renewal costs could range from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 for an entire year. The cost of renewing a food licence is entirely dependent on the following two factors.
FSSAI Central licence renewal
All food business operators who meet the requirements for a central licence, such as having a turnover of Rs 20 Crore or operating in numerous locations, must renew their licences using Form C, which is available online. An FSSAI Central License renewal costs 7,500 per year from the government.
