Despite not having a physical dining area, they are fully subject to FSSAI regulations.<\/p>\n<h3>Which License Category Applies?<\/h3>\n<p>Most cloud kitchens fall under the State License category if their annual turnover is between \u20b912 lakh and \u20b920 crore. If turnover is below \u20b912 lakh, Basic Registration applies. Large multi-state cloud kitchen operations may need a Central License.<\/p>\n<h3>Platform Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>Zomato, Swiggy and other delivery platforms require a valid FSSAI license number before listing any kitchen. Without it, your cloud kitchen cannot go live on these platforms.
